Tributes 3:

God bless you and your family too… I can’t express my gratitude too, as I have also become a better person because of you and your family’s relentless commitment to preach about the love of Christ. I miss Daddy too, but I am happy and thankful that he is in the best place.

--Tona

Paul was a very good and jovial man. Loved by many and imparted lives so positively. Having worked with him closely in one of the medical outreaches, I admired his love for God and knowing all his children was an added opportunity to witness Christian love.

--Jack

He was an epitome of humility.

--Evelyn

We all have lost a great man and heaven has gained a great man. Nothing is as precious to the heart of God as the death of a diligent and dutiful servant. Your dad has served men, humanity, this generation, and God, and he will be highly celebrated in Jesus’ name.

--Tayo

A beautiful man. A true man of God.

--Michael

Your dad was a great dad and a wonderful human being based on the few short moments I was able to be around him.

--Gislain

I remember him as a cheerful, warm, friendly man.

--Koko

I really, really wish it was not so. Your dad was always full of life, had a ready smile and an encouraging word for one. And, as I remember, very witty too.

--Terence

Oh My Friend Paul.

Paul, you were a real child of God.

Committed to the course of the Gospel.

A Great Evangelist.

Always ready to tell about the love of God.

Oh, I remember our discussions.

I remember our meetings...

Those days of outreaches,

Those days of medical missions,

When volunteerism was from the heart.

When participation was from a place of conviction on what must be done and done immediately.

There was such an urgency with you.

If it is to reach out and help our fellow humans, Paul was all out for it.

Always seeking out how to bring the Gospel home to the hearer.

You loved and went out loving all in your sphere.

My friend Paul.

You were an encouragement.

You were an inspiration.

Doing the things you did for us here in Nigeria and Port Harcourt in particular is your act of obedience.

Obedience to Him that called you.

It was an easy walk with you.

We prayed about the least of situations.

“Oh okay. Let us pray,” you will say spontaneously. Even when the times were difficult, you trusted in His ability to hear and answer us always.

You had resolute faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

You knew His Word is supreme and you exercised yourself in it.

You held on to Him and refused to yield even at the risk of having nothing.

In the midst of your not having much you sacrificed to give to others.

You sold your car and gave me the money from it by instruction when it was obvious you needed the money more than me.

Many times your faith paid off when challenges stared us in the face, you held on and trusted Him that does not lie.

Now that you have gone home to your creator, your Maker and the Lover of your soul, we release you to abide in His presence forever.

But we will miss you, dear Paul.

We will miss your calls and your laughter and the way you say God bless you, Victor. And send my love to Ola and the kids.

You did not even forget their names notwithstanding not seeing for months.

You were a true friend and soldier of Jesus Christ.

We that you have left behind will do our best to carry on with the work on this side of eternity.

Your family that you loved and showed how to love in Christ will keep on holding on.

Adieu Mr Paul.

Adieu Evangelist Paul.

Adieu Paul my missionary friend.

We shall meet at the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.

--Victor
